How to install nerd and firafonts (optional)
in Categories: Fonts, Linux, Tips and Tricks.
In many or most cases, you don’t need these fonts, unless you want to tweak your shell or VSC.
If you want to have some eye-candy on your shell or VSC, these fonts are sort of must have.
There is a script on GitHub that makes the font installation process quite easy. You can see the script below.
We recommend you to install at least the following fonts, FiraCode, FiraMono, Hack, JetbrainsMono, Meslo and NerdFontsSymbolsOnly.
Later on if you decide to install Oh my Zsh and or powerlevel10k, or if you wish to use gestures on VSC, the “required” fonts are already installed.
